Intro To Dressage

Amanda Pierce is a USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist, as well as competed through the Intermediate 1 on a self trained, non traditional dressage horse. Amanda has successfully helped horses and riders with western dressage, gaited dressage and even driven dressage for a high level CDE competitor. Her focus is on using the training scale to help riders navigate how to ride their horses in a manner that makes them move in better balance and harmony. Dressage is for any horse or rider, in any discipline. The principles can be applied to make a horse a better athlete that can perform longer with maintaining soundness with longevity. Horse and rider biomechanics will be discussed, along with how to build relaxation and suppleness to maximize your horses athletic potential.

The clinic will begin at 8am on Saturday with a lecture and then session will begin promptly at 9am until 5pm with a 1 hr lunch at noon.

All levels of riders and breeds are welcome. Amanda helps riders of all disciplines so western or English riders are welcome.

Cost is $200 per hourly session. Sessions can be private or a group of 2. Each day will have 7 one hour sessions. Participants are welcome and encouraged to stay and watch other students.

PayPal, Venmo, cash or check accepted. Payment is due in full to secure a session. Multiple sessions can be secured.

Auditors are welcome at $25 a day.
