About the event

If you have an interest in learning about Liberty Horsemanship and how it can help you and your horse’s relationship, come join us at TLH Farms!!!

Over a 3 day period, we will learn exercises that help us give purpose and control in Liberty training and then we will put that into action!

If you have been wanting to get started in liberty, this is the perfect clinic to learn the proper foundation to help you set yourself and your horse for a successful liberty journey.

Liberty is essential to helping build a relationship with your horse as it helps to increase trust as you cannot push your horse over threshold while at liberty. The horse has free choice to stay with you. This helps keep the human honest in their requirements and requests of the horse as it needs to be on a mutual understanding and willing participation basis.

There is no lead rope to force the horse to stay with you. Only the trust bond you have built.

Day 1- we will learn how to properly use our whips to help cue and communicate to our horses to help them learn a variety of body control movements that are essential to the liberty journey and discipline. We will have halter and lead ropes as to help speed up and give clarity to the maneuvers.

Day 2- this will be a one on one basis. Each participant and their horse will work with me in a round pen without halter and lead rope. We will work on establishing connection and then begin to implement the newly learned maneuvers while completely at liberty.

Day 3-this is also be on a one on one basis. Participants will review the maneuvers they have learned and then incorporate them into a obstacle course done at liberty.

This is and always will be a safe and healthy learning environment where participants can experience healing and non-judgmental feedback.
