About the event

Join us for a weekend of learning about Ranch Riding while using correct rider and equine biomechanics to help you get the best quality ride possible while helping your horse learn to properly use their body.

Day 1- we will begin by learning about how our riding position and posture can affect our horse and also how to begin teaching our horses to learn to find a correct body position and to feel safe reaching into the bit.

This all helps us begin to teach our horse to rely on our seat and legs for cues instead of always having to use our reins. This is essential in learning to have a resistance free ride.

Day 2- we will begin to explore using proper biomechanics to help us execute ranch riding maneuvers. We will talk about what the judges are looking for in extension gaits as well as some of the maneuvers required in ranch riding.

Cost is $250 per person.

Please contact Lauren Demerchant-Brown to reserve a spot and for facility information. Ph: 207-325-1602
